Vita of Lawyer Harald Bensen

Born 1966 in Berlin. Study of Law at the FU Berlin. Admission as lawyer in February 1996. I am a lawyer since 30 years and have my own lawyer's office in Berlin since 23 years. In 2003 formation of my law firm in Donaustraße in Berlin-Neukölln. From July 2017 to February 2026, my office was located in Herrnhuter Weg in Berlin-Neukölln (Rixdorf, Richardkiez). As of March 2026, my office is located in Nunsdorfer Ring 15 in 12277 Berlin.

Previously, I held various positions in academia and industry:

Lecturer and examiner at the State Forestry School of Brandenburg: training of forestry staff of medium to higher service in preparation for tenure, in the areas of general and special administrative law and civil law.

Lecturer and examiner at the University of Applied Sciences for Administration and Legal Affairs in Berlin: training of police officers of the central services in preparation for the takeover into the elevated service in the areas of administrative law, in particular police and administrative law, criminal law and criminal procedure.

Syndic of the Association of Metal and Electrical Industry in Berlin-Brandenburg eV (VME): advice and representation of the member companies of the Confederation of Business Associations of Berlin Brandenburg (UVB) in individual labor law, constitution law and collective bargaining law, representation before tariff unification, conciliation bodies, and other negotiations with works councils, focused on the fields of data protection law, disabilities act, educational leave law, maternity protection and parental leave law, representatives of the employers in the regional councils for the disabled of the federal states Berlin and Brandenburg, supervision of the working group of Data Protection Officers (UVB) and the regional group Berlin / South (VME).

Counsel of the Department of Law / Contracts Management of McPaper AG / German Post Retail GmbH: Nationwide consulting for McPaper AG and the German postal retail companies in individual labour law, consulting in industrial relations law and collective bargaining law, implementing personnel-related measures, such as redundancies, warnings, dislocations and appraisal interviews, self-dependent processing of the fields commercial tenancy law, building law, trademark and competition law, self-dependent support and representation of distribution areas of Dortmund, Essen and Nuremberg (Germany).

For eight years, Chief Judge of the State Arbitration Court of the Association of German Bundeswehr Reservists eV - Regional Association Berlin.
